We listen, act, and transform
I’m Darrlyn Stallings, licensed therapist and founder of Collaborative Work Therapy. As the name indicates, I view the relationship between the clinician and client as a collaboration, and I want my clients to not only feel like they are a part of the therapeutic process but that they are in charge of their counseling experience. I employ a strengths-based, client centered, trauma informed approach in my practice and utilize a few modalities including CBT and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) as well as Psychodynamic Therapy. Overall, I am eclectic in my approach as no two clients are the same.
My mission is to provide compassionate, culturally informed therapy that centers collaboration, empowerment, and healing, particularly those from marginalized communities. As a Black woman therapist I am especially dedicated to fostering a safe space where individuals can engage in meaningful dialogue and work alongside an informed professional who understands their unique mental health needs.
